This blog has taken three variations.
At first it was the blog of Promised Hope Church, a house church plant in Cincinnati for whom I was the elder/pastor.
Then, it became the blog of CrossBridge Church, the Southern Baptist Convention church plant who Promised Hope combined with, and of which I was one of two elder/pastors. In November of 2015, CrossBridge’s season as a self-sustaining public church ended (if you’re curious about that, see here).
In its current and final form, this blog is now simply my own written attempts to be helpful in the cause of making much of Jesus Christ. All of the posts from both previous forms of the blog are still available, and I write in the same manner as I did when I was maintaining this space as the written forum of a public church.
I’m a husband, a father of 4 young children and 1 more tiny one who is with the Lord. I work for an office equipment company and, pastorally, have most recently served as one of the pastors with a church in urban west Cincinnati.
